Final Disposition of Dead Fetus

These sections of statute establish the right of the parent(s) of a miscarried child, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, to obtain the remains of the child for burial. It requires the person responsible for the final disposition of the fetus to obtain authorization from the parent(s) for the method of final disposition.
